A lot of people talk shit that Tim wasnt a technically capable player....what utter horse. His timing was immaculate, especially on volleys, and I dont think I ever saw him miskick a football. His goal reel proves it beyond any question. Once you factor in his dedication, leadership, example, aerial ability and character, you have one of the most underrated players of his generation. Absolute hero, get him a testimonial....

His shooting was very very good (world class) particularly his volley technique in addition to his brst in the world heading ability of courss. Had a good first touch also. Just his dribbling wasnt great in fact i rarely saw him dribble. He'd get it push it wide then dart to the back post for a header or volley nearly every time

SMOKEZ Watching him in the a league was a privilege. The guy was an old slow man but could still read the game at a world class level, his positioning was amazing. Makes you wonder how tough and the insane level the premier league truly is, given he would not be a regular nailed on starter at the other top 4 sides during his hay day.
