The passion that Séamus has for our football club is tremendous, going into his 16th season at Everton and he’s still as committed to the club as he was when he signed for 60 grand all those years ago. He’s one of my all time favourite Everton players and it’ll be a sad day when Séamus leaves or retires, but for now we’ve got him for another season and I hope that it’ll be a memorable one for the captain. COYB!!! 🔵⚪️⚽️

Little tear in my eye when he was talking about Leicester away there, being in that ground you felt a switch in the fans and the players when he gave us that second wind as he was going off, that point that took 2 off Leicester kept us in the end, what a legend and what a fukin captain 💙💙

Aside from the important goals he’s scored over the years my favourite Seamus Coleman memory was the lung busting run he made against Leicester in the 90th minute in his first game back less than 10 months after his leg break injury, I swear you would not see many players show as much heart and fight for a jersey as Seamus Coleman, an Everton legend.

After inspection it’s only Lewis Dunk within 2 years of him and half his seasons weren’t even in PL 😂 Seamus 14.5 years, Dunk 13 years, Kane 12.5 years 😎 Coleman is special

I've always thought he class a few bad injuries then a bad team to support him as he aged . Under a moyes team or just a good team always cater for lack of something as a player age but his fellow team mates struggled looking after themselves than putting an extra % more to cover Coleman. Dyche at least plays as a team

This stinks of financial fair play, great player over the years but this will cost us. I would of been happy to see him in the coaching staff, so no signings and relegation this year I`m sad to think .

No wonder youngsters want to leave us now asap ..good servant favourite let's give them new contracts mentality..joke run club ...Nothing against Coleman but he's been poor the last 18 months and should never be starting
