Great about Beto - that was scary.

Ashley Young singlehandedly did his absolutely best to sabotage this result and is incredibly lucky. Against Liverpool all three of those will be nailed on penalties. He cannot play any part in that game.

The only person who seems to disagree is Sean Dyche. Gomes was abysmal too. Does he pour lead in his boots before kick off? I'm in my late 40s and move more quickly than him.

It was like young had a secret bet on there would be a penalty in the game. Makes you wonder. Or he told someone to put the bet on. A handball' a kick out' and through the back of someone. I smell a rat. How he got away with it ill never know. And what var were doing is crazy I couldn't believe at least 1 of them wasn't a penalty. Thank fuck coz I'm a blue man. But it was very very suspicious 🤔

Great battling performance by Everton! And brilliant to get the goals from open play and also with long-range shots! Idrissa Gana Gueye capped his "man of the match" display with that fine drive. He has before blasted quite many way high up, now he kept it strictly under the bar and in it went!🤗 We know Dwight McNeil can produce "super strikes", he has done so for Burnley, yes one was against Everton at Goodison a few years ago, and he has scored such goals for Everton, too, although not lately, but today he found again his "scoring boots" and struck a beautiful shot.😊 Both very well measured, going in via the post!

Glad for the win, we were lucky they unlucky regarding the handball penalty. The other two would have been awarded in a game against another team neither were justifiable calls. The handball in the penalty area really needs reviewing especially in this day of VAR. You cant go giving a goal, which is effectively what a penalty is for an often accidental hand ball when the ball never looked like ending up in the back of the net.

Good to see Everton bounce back from that 6-0 loss at Stamford Bridge. That scoreline was unfair to them in many ways. I want Everton to stay up and will be backing their corner throughout. They have been badly treated and punished wrongfully by the Premier League for certain things that they did not do, but for some of which people in the Everton hierarchy did do and have put the club in that position who should be removed from ther jobs.

All depends on men in grey suits deciding at the last minute whose points deduction should be overruled or increased on appeal. The actual results don’t count any more. They should just televise the points deductions meetings instead of the games.
