"I ALWAYS FELT PART OF THE FAMILY AT EVERTON" | MIKEL ARTETA: THE BIG INTERVIEW
Спорт
Arriving at Goodison, magical European nights, missing out on the FA Cup final and his exit from the Blues - Mikel Arteta has plenty to look back on from his six years at Everton.
The former Toffees midfielder, now assistant coach at Manchester City under Pep Guardiola, has given an exclusive interview about all things Everton for the first time since leaving the Club in 2011.

“That night we was robbed” yes mikel lad!
Mikel didn't let anybody down, what a great professional who gave everything for our club. A great man.
Just a shame he was playing during Spain's golden generation, deserved to be an international player

One of my favorite players who put on the blue shirt
What a legend mikel
I was there in Villarreal, he is part of Everton regardless of the arsenal nonsense. Can’t remember seeing him give the ball away once, silky master
And not even 2 years after this interview, he's won his 1st trophy as a manager. TOP classy man!
hes my fav ever everton player. I was broken when he left. Love him to manage us one day.
Never booed him once loved him at Everton and i feel we got the best out of him before he left it was the right time for him to go
Fantastic player for Everton.. Always welcome at Goodison Park. Toffeee for life.
One of, if not the best player we’ve had in the Premier League era. How many times did he step up in the big moments with an assist or goal. Best little Spaniard we know.
2018 and we still haven't replaced him, what a player he was. "He's the best little Spaniard we know" 💙 Absolutely gutted he never won a trophy with us.

Best 1st touch I've ever seen by an Everton player.
I can honestly say I still love the man. I was heart broken when he left but after hearing is explanation I understand completely and I can say that someday I hope he comes back and joins the coaching staff
One of my all time favourite players, had many a shirt with Arteta on the back 💙

True Everton great, how lucky I was to grow up watching him at Goodison. Classy man and a gent. I had his name on my shirt every year.
We never really replaced him when he went. Loved him then love him now
Tremendous player, would love to see him as Everton manager one day.
David moyes was a pretty good manager to be fair he got the best out of players and could pick great recruits
Still havent replaced you mikel lad,one of thee very best.Good luck in whatever you do.
What a guy. Absolutely gutted the day he left
'He was the identity of that club' When he said this about cahill, hes bang on the money.
Was the player at Everton that made them look top 4 worthy for me. He was the extra quality they needed to break through and all the play was running through him. That 07/08 season was gold.
My 2nd club is Everton because goodison park is very similar to Highbury and mikel played for Everton. Everton is historical club and i love Don Carlo too. Everton and Arsenal for Champions League ❤
Was still good in centre midfield after his cruciate ligament but before that when he was on the wing he was absolutely brilliant
A special man . He will achieve great things as Arsenal manager .

Thanks Mikel. You blessed Everton & with Tim Cahill really lifted the quality. Great times.
This is making me miss the arteta & cahill days...

I still love this guy. What a bluenose!
I still don't think I've ever witnessed an atmosphere like that home leg against Fiorentina .... Imagine what we could create if we win those kind of games. Onwards and upwards blues.
Just enjoy to watch him talking about his teammates back then. What a lovely moment! Love you Mickey!

Love how some players actually get our club. Arteta is a blue
After his first season at Arsenal I was glad he left and I finally stopped crying. His last 2 seasons with us were Arteta in his prime. Our shirt gave him extra power 😀 Mikel you made me cry when you left. But Bill still got your money🤣
I miss him everyday 😢💙
I would love him back 💙💙💙
Great Interview Great Player for us
My little toddler son use to run around shouting arteta 💙
Future Everton manager 🙌🏻💙
Serious baller at Everton this guy and much loved
Came to Rangers young professional. Could see Arteta had ability, knew was going develop into classy midfielder .Grafter ,ball winner & silly player Always put in good hard shift ,served Everton well Had Big Dunc upfront & minder to pick out (another ex Rangers player cult status, gutted but understood had leave) Mikel Arteta should ALWAYS receive warm welcome esp Gladys Street .Guy just did interview tells you respects Everton Club & Evertonian Fans he gave his all for English FA or YMCA Class Act
I will always respect and love mikel them days was the best coyb

Favourite player growing up ❤️
Seriously and Peter Reid, Paul bracewell and the list goes on this guy was absolutely superb… best we’ve had in 30-40 years.
i fucking love this man next manager definetly
awesome player
Great player, thanks Mikel, and thanks for the video, great stuff! Loved him wanted him to become an English national :)
If spain wasn't so blessed with so many outstanding midfielders at the time arteta would of been a regular for them. Gutted when he got injured against Newcastle probably one of the best players in the Premiership at a time has he was so much on top of his game
My favorite player of the world, all of the sports. And i wanna be play like him. He has good passing skill, kick, and moving. Well i think he is goooood player more than tony or modrich. To me.
He became a world class manager at Arsenal
He’s the best little spaniard we know
Boss. Nuremberg was the best away game I have ever been to. I'll never forget singing "follow follow follow…" in the tunnel down to the train. He was boss Arteta.
It broke my heart when he left us
There's nobody better than mikel arteta.
Black and pink with Arteta on back is my favorite top!
The last player to break my heart when he left , him and Cahill where my hero's growing up.
Love the player just soured things with the FA Cup quarter final with Arsenal.
The best I've ever seen live in a Blue jersey. I wish he'd stayed.

really a very sad day when he left us, but it was easy to understand why, we where never gonna win anything under moyes and he wanted to play in the champions league etc, something we just couldnt give him..even if we did get robbed by collina the cheat, i dont think we would have got through the group like villereal did, they went on to end up in the semi's of the champions league, no mean feat in itself.
