Dugout seats installed at Everton Stadium! 💺

Dugout seats are the latest addition to the fast-moving development of Everton Stadium.
The padded blue seats for the management team and substitutes are being installed pitchside on both sides of the players’ tunnel in the west stand, adding to the 45,000+ seats already in place across all four stands.
These include rail seating across the entire lower tier of the south stand for Everton fans, and newly-installed rail seating in the north east corner of the stadium, which will welcome visiting supporters.
Within the south stand itself, preliminary work is underway to install a bar that will run the entire length of the upper concourse, which provides panoramic views of the cityscape through angled, floor to wall windows.
Atop the stand, the sub-frame and support rails are now now in place ahead of solar panels being installed in the coming weeks. These panels will help to generate power that can be utilised across the stadium, as past of the huge sustainability drive.
Work is also well underway to create the concession spaces, install toilets and lay vinyl flooring in the two main stands.
Externally, work is ongoing to excavate the sand from the western elevation, where a water channel will eventually reconnect the dock system to the north and south.
The adjoining Western Terrace is having brick façade panels - matching those hanging externally on the stadium - to the walls on either flank.
Barrel cladding is also spreading, section by section, across the roofing framework of the east and west stands, ahead of an expected summer completion.

Watching the new stadium grow and develop has been a pleasure and I have to admit has brought a tear to the eye. I also echo the sentiment that Everton touches peoples lives forever, just listen to players who played for us and still wax lyrical years later! No matter who the owner is "we" will always be a family.
And another thing, I love the music choice this time - superb. Made me so proud to be a Blue. Thank you 💙

Although I'm a United fan I always have a soft spot for Everton. My old man is a die-hard Everton fan. I know that my dad would have been buzzing with the new stadium if he was still around. Good luck to the Toffees for the upcoming new season and rest in peace, Dad.

Me too been going there since 1970 lived in the area all my life me an my mates would sometimes climb in if a night from the entry when there were house's in goodison road we would get 5 minutes an the groundsmen would here us as he only lived at the back of the park end but it was the best 5 minutes of yer life being Andy king Duncan McKenzie or big bob latch 😉💙💙

It's interesting the old dock wall will be visible inside the stadium, hopefully that stays and remains part of the design rather than covered up with advertising hoardings. Nice touch.

The old dock wall will be covered up and the pitch will be above it. You can see it now because they’ve been installing pipes and cables. If the wall was left exposed it would be a danger to the players, e.g. sliding tackles.

I hope that the TV cameras aren't too high up like it initially was at Liverpool's redevelop main stand before it was lowered to the top of the bottom tier which is more appropriate. No one wants a birds eye view! 📺

The main TV camera will be in the middle of the west stand (the main stand) just above the upper executive boxes, i.e. at the bottom of the upper tier. You can see the concrete platform where it’ll be.
Is there going to be any Everton badges on the outside of the stadium? Cruise ships coming in need to know who this grand stadium belongs to…

I think the bars on each side of the stadium should be called the Gwladys StreetBar, Parke End Bar, Bullens Bar and Main Stand Bar.., I'm sure you work out which goes where! COYB!!!

Meiss is a legend. Not only designed the stadium but was also an evangelist for the club. It was not just an off the shelf design. He really researched the club and built that into the dna what was required by the club and fans. Give him a season ticket for life and free beer 💙💙💙
