I remember him playing at bescot(walsall stadium) in the Everton reserves against villa whilst trying to get fit for first team..losing at half time and my little bro called him,he came over to him and my bro said : score for me amo..he said : I will try for you..he scored two and pointed to my brother with the winner ...what a guy!

Loved this video. Thank you. My memory of Amo is, I was on the parade bus before it left to go around the city with the cup and I patted Amo on the back. I've never felt such solid muscle in my life. It was insane how strong he was.

Absolute heros to me growing up. My first everton game I saw Daniel Amokachi score two vs Newcastle and it was an amazing first experience at Goodison. Great to see these guys getting on and doing so well.

We did not just win that match against Spurs we smashed it that day

TANK C yes was their I had the massive Everton crest flag in the crowd I just new we was going to win the cup that year from the game at Bristol city when they batterd us the we scored late on with Matt Jackson goal

I love joe. What a gent. When he was a player He used to go to the chippy with his girlfriend at the end of Esmond street L6 and send her to get the chips and play footy with us kids in the street until she came back. He autographed a piece of his chip bag which we glued to the wall in the parlour. It broke my heart when we had to move and leave it behind. Koeman hasn’t got it and doesn’t get us. Taxi for Ronald. Bring back joe with uns. How great was the dogs of war evening. Let’s have some passion back.

dsk71 Very true, he looks smaller now. Is it because we have grown bigger? He was very popular at his first team Club Bruges in Belgium! With the Blues he was already confident of his potentials! I remember him in the Olympics when his Nigerian team destroyed Brazil to win gold!
